SafePassage Global Code of Ethics
For nearly three decades SafePassage Global has set the standard of excellence on which parents, grandparents, guardians, schools, programs, and referring professionals can depend. Our professionalism and ethical practice provides the basis for training and implementation for the safe transports we provide. SafePassage Global training is the beginning for interfacing and caring for your loved one.
SafePassage Global will provide:
A written estimate for service, a written contract for service, and open communication
Respect for referring professionals, programs and staff
Professional interface, full transparency including parameters for travel, the destination, and the person or persons responsible for making the decisions
Provide opportunity for debrief with destination intake professionals in the presence of loved ones who have been transported
SafePassage Global will further:
Uphold the law of the land
Provide a safe and secure environment for transport
Never intentionally cause harm
Practice honesty, integrity, and protect confidentiality
Provide appropriate sustenance and offer bathroom breaks
Seek the support of medical and mental health professionals or local law enforcement in situations where individuals are exhibiting combative, dangerous, or life-threatening conduct in an attempt to dispel volatility and establish control
SafePassage Global has a zero-tolerance policy for intimidation tactics, lies, threats, coercion, intentional harm, and deceit. SafePassage Global supports and ascribes to an ethical interface and transport that includes all parents or guardians to be on-site and in person so as to provide visual unity during the intervention and mediation process.
SafePassage Global will never knowingly engage in a contractual relationship with a client that exceeds our agents abilities, capabilities, and training or professional confines, or intentionally compromise our ethical practice. Prior to the commencement of the interface SafePassage Global staff will establish a workable plan for transport and co-create a safe and emotionally healthy environment for our agents and the person in their care.
